Youth Sailing
The youth sailing program registers 11-15 yr olds to sail from July through mid-August.It is geared toward participants who possess little or no sailing experience. Through a combination of dockside sessions and on-the-water experience, each student will gain knowledge in:
- rigging small boats
- knots
- points of sail
- tacking and jibing
- upwind and downwind sailing
- powering up
- depowering
- rules of right of way
